Inspiration: Artist quote: "I wanted to start a painting using graphite, which is a drawing medium. The graphite tone allowed me to then add soft subtle earth tones to layer the painting. I wanted the horse to be the focal point but to almost vanish into the environment, like a dream. Having the horse blend in and out of the landscape allows the viewer's eye to move around the whole painting."

Frames: We offer conservation fine art framing. Each frame is hand-finished in Germany, using sustainable solid woods. All woods are certified through the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). No MDF or reconstituted materials are used. The frames are roughly .75 inches on the front and are equipped with edge-ground float glass.
