Inspiration: Artist quote: "Painting is a moving meditation for me. It takes work to arrive at a “state of grace”. Sometimes it takes deep concentration to block out all the mental noise. This act of focus engages in a push and pull dance; a kind of controlled chaos. When all things click and the noise has settled, I can begin the process of trusting and listening to my inner voice. It is in this space that paintings like this arrive."

Egg Tempera: Egg tempera painting is a historical form of painting dating back to the 1st and 2nd century and uses brilliant pigments from the earth. Because of these fine grainy pigments, the print will show a luminous, colorful grainy quality. Egg tempera paints have a tendency to pool, puddle, and spread in magical ways. Egg tempera paints are translucent, allowing the viewer to witness the full effect of the details in the paint pigment. Enlarged prints will exhibit high quality details of these pigments. Paper: Printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper. Prints are custom-made in London, England. Learn about our paper. 

Frames: We offer conservation fine art framing. Each frame is hand-finished in Germany, using sustainable solid woods. All woods are certified through the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). No MDF or reconstituted materials are used. The frames are roughly .75 inches on the front and are equipped with edge-ground float glass.
