Description: Reproduction artwork is of a chalk pastel drawing printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper of a boat on the Pamlico Sound

Inspiration: This singular boat in the middle of the Pamlico river anchors the work. The pastel drawing was inspired by the vast open space and the tension of the narrowing water toward the center of the composition. The center marks the action in the sky: a magnificent sunset.

Paper: Printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper. Prints are custom-made in London, England. Learn about our paper

Frames: We offer conservation fine art framing. Each frame is hand-finished in Germany, using sustainable solid woods. All woods are certified through the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). No MDF or reconstituted materials are used. The frames are roughly .75 inches on the front and are equipped with edge-ground float glass. An acid-free insert and a sturdy rear panel with hangers make for easy hanging in portrait and landscape formats. Learn more about our frames.

Amazing quality

The quality of the artwork and print reproduction is amazing! We really like having something of Sally’s in our home and the Boat on the Pamlico has sentimental value to my wife and I. The framing and delivery were timely. The whole experience of choosing, buying, and hanging the art was something I’d recommend. Also, the price was very reasonable. Supporting an artist is the right thing to do and the buyer gets the real reward. We love it!
